The “Youth Squad” project is an initiative aimed at empowering young people through the art of podcasting. This project is part of the “Voicehood Youth” program, which focuses on equipping youth with the skills needed to create and share compelling digital content. By fostering a deeper understanding of podcasting, we aim to give young people a platform to express their voices on critical issues like human rights, gender equality, European multiculturalism and more.
Project activities:
- Training course “How to create podcast”
Training course cover all aspects of podcast creation, from planning and scripting to recording, editing, and publishing. Participants learn how to use professional tools such as Audacity, Kapwing, and Canva, ensuring high-quality output.
- Local activities – hands-on podcast production
Participants collaborate on real-world podcast projects, developing episodes that address key social issues. These sessions not only provide practical experience but also encourage teamwork and creative thinking.
