The third meeting for the project “Urban Life” took place in Schio, Italy, from 7th-10th February 2020.
The project is financed by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Commission.
On the first day, the participants shared their research about the number and the characteristics of the abandoned sports playgrounds in their local context and discovered the differences and peculiarities that each country has.
A public conference was held during the afternoon (below you can find the whole conference).
The second day of the meeting, inspired by the great talks of the day before, was dedicated to study how these places can be recovered, or how they can be converted according to the local rules. The possibilities for non-profit organizations and groups for cooperation on finding common solutions across the different countries was also emphasized.
The participants also developed a map with some of the abandoned places in their city.
At the end of the meeting, they had a group hike to the top of the Monte Summano 1296mt.
